Terms of Sale & Refund Policy
These Terms of Sale explain the purchase, delivery, renewal, and refund conditions for Qualifying For A Home, a Windows desktop software application developed by NewTrend Products LLC.
1. Software Purchases
Qualifying For A Home is offered as downloadable software under a time-limited Personal License. Purchasing a license grants the customer the right to use the software during the purchased license term, subject to the applicable End User License Agreement (EULA).
Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property to the customer.
2. Personal License Terms
The initial purchase of a Qualifying For A Home Personal License provides a 12-month license term. Customers may subsequently choose to renew their license for an additional 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months. The applicable purchase or renewal price will be displayed before payment.
A Personal License is intended for use by the authorized license holder, subject to the activation and usage conditions stated in the EULA.
3. Manual Renewals — No Automatic Billing
Personal Licenses do not automatically renew. Customers will not be charged automatically when their license term expires.
Customers may voluntarily renew their Personal License before or after its expiration date. Renewing before expiration extends the existing license term. Renewal pricing and available terms will be displayed before purchase.
If a customer does not renew, the license expires without any additional charges.
4. Software Delivery and Activation
Qualifying For A Home is delivered digitally. Customers receive instructions for downloading and activating the software following purchase.
An internet connection is required for initial software activation and may be required for certain license-management operations. Once activated, the application's financial calculations operate offline.
5. 14-Day Limited Refund Policy
NewTrend Products LLC offers a limited refund policy for Qualifying For A Home Personal Licenses. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.
Refunds may be approved for circumstances including:
- An accidental duplicate purchase.
- A software activation problem that cannot be resolved through reasonable technical support.
- A significant technical defect that prevents the software from functioning substantially as described and cannot be resolved.
Because Qualifying For A Home is downloadable software that provides access to its functionality upon activation, refunds are not ordinarily provided when a customer has successfully activated and used the software but subsequently decides the software is no longer needed.
Refund requests are reviewed individually. This policy does not limit any rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws. Refund decisions and processing are also subject to the applicable terms and procedures of our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
6. Refund Requests and License Revocation
To request a refund, contact support@newtrendproducts.com within the applicable refund request period. Include your purchase information and a description of the issue.
If a refund is approved and processed, the associated software license and its activation rights may be revoked.
7. License Renewals and Refunds
Renewal purchases are voluntary and are not automatically billed. Requests for refunds of renewal purchases will be reviewed under the same limited refund criteria, measured from the date of the renewal purchase, subject to applicable law.
8. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Applicable taxes, payment methods, and final charges will be presented during checkout.
Payment transactions are subject to the applicable terms of the payment provider.
9. Software License Agreement
Use of Qualifying For A Home is governed by its End User License Agreement (EULA), which addresses permitted use, license restrictions, warranties, and limitations of liability, subject to applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
NewTrend Products LLC may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. Updates will be published on this page. Changes will not retroactively alter completed purchases where prohibited by law.
